Prof. Sang-Wook Kim from the Hanyang University, Korea, has invited Prof. Mirjana Ivanovic from the University Novi Sad, Serbia, to present the ASCAPE project at the seminar "Advanced AI Research and Education". In September, the PhD students of DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE, Hanyang University, had the opportunity to discuss with prof. Ivanovic about AI, ML and solutions applied in the ASCAPE project.
The objectives of the project, personalised medicine and new approaches to improve the healthcare of cancer patients have been the focus of the lecture, especially how Big Data can provide new opportunities to define statistical and clinical significance. The students have shown their interest in data privacy, limitations of technology and the approaches to overcome them.
